What can trigger a correction
A correction can follow a source update, manufacturer documentation change, discovered factual error, technical review issue, broken reference, misleading diagram, unclear wording, or reader report that can be verified.
Material corrections
If an error could change a repair decision, compatibility conclusion, safety action, or technical diagnosis, the page should be re-reviewed before the corrected version is considered complete.
Minor edits
Spelling, formatting, broken-link repairs, and wording improvements that do not change the technical meaning may be updated without a prominent correction note.
Version history
The production system is designed to keep article versions and review history so a material change can be traced to the reason, source, and review event.
